Help - System Shutdown

Overview
This screen allows you to shutdown or reboot the NAS Server, and to set a shutdown schedule. After a shutdown, you must manually switch the NAS Server back ON.

Shutdown Schedule

Enable Use the checkbox to Enable/Disable the shutdown schedule, as required.

Day You can establish different schedules for Weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Time Enter the time you wish the shutdown to occur.

Power Scheme

Turn off hard disk Choose the desired idle time to trigger a hard disk shutdown.

Delayed Action

Delay Enter the time (in minutes) before you wish the Reboot/Shutdown to occur.

Action Choose "Reboot" or "Shutdown" as required.

Start Timer The timer will start when the "Start Timer" button is clicked.

Buttons

Shutdown Now Shutdown the Server immediately. This will break all existing connections, including this one.
Clicking this button does NOT save any data you have entered.

Restart Now Restart (reboot) the Server. This will break all existing connections, including this one. The NAS Server will immediately restart, but could take a few minutes before it is available again.
